Family Volunteer Commitments
Thank you for joining our swim team community! We are excited to see your children learn and grow in the sport. Cabana teams are always 100% volunteer run and operated, which makes things fun and gives everyone a chance to experience varying aspects of the season. We cannot have meets, or give your child any fun opportunities, if we do not have volunteers, so your time and effort are so appreciated!
VOLUNTEER COMMITMENT
Each family (regardless of the number of swimmers) is asked to commit to a minimum of 18 volunteer points over the course of the season. This corresponds to roughly 18-19 hours of volunteer time, but because not every shift is exactly 2 hours or requires the same thing, we use a points system. In past years, we have requested 9x2 hour shifts per family per season, so even though we are using points for 2026, the actual commitment hasn't changed. No more than 6 of these points can be from Parent -in-Charge shifts.
Each family (regardless of attendance) is asked to commit to one shift supporting Cabana League Champs.
If you have not signed up for your needed shift points by April 15th, 2026 your children will not be allowed to swim at practice.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to our Volunteer Coordinators (Michelle Marovich and Crystal Alger) for all questions related to volunteering.
They can be reached at [email protected]
